Do you have a behaviour or training problem with your dog?
When we bring a dog into our family we have high hopes of developing a wonderful relationship with our new companion. Our animals often play a very big part in our lives - we love and care for them, and want to do our best for them. However, occasionally things go wrong. Our dogs become ‘unruly’ or ‘disobedient’, we discover we can’t teach them to do the things we would like them to do, and sometimes they behave in ways we simply can’t understand.
If you are experiencing a training or behavioural problem with your dog, please take a little time to look around my site at the services I offer. Very often, although problems may seem insurmountable, they stem from confusion and misunderstanding, or a breakdown in communication between yourself and your dog. Sometimes it may be that you need assistance with your training strategies. I can explain why your dog may be behaving in ways that are undesirable, and help you acquire the knowledge and techniques required to improve the situation.
Please note that there is currently a waiting time of approximately four weeks for a behaviour consult due to current caseload. A pre-visit telephone advice service is available - visit my 'services' page for more information. Do please note that I no longer see dogs for aggression and reactivity to other dogs due to the retirement of my own dogs as 'stooges' who were instrumental in the rehabilitation of these dogs. If you are experiencing this kind of problem with your dog, I can give you the details of a behaviourist based in the Forest of Dean who is excellent at this kind of work.

I am not a 'dog whisperer’, I am a Companion Animal Behaviour Counsellor, which is a recognised, post-graduate, university qualification. I combine the most up-to-date academic knowledge in the fields of companion animal behaviour and training with years of practical experience, and a caring and holistic approach, to identify and treat the underlying causes of your dog’s behavioural problems.
Dogs have given us their absolute all. We are the center of their universe. We are the focus of their love and faith and trust. They serve us in return for scraps. It is without a doubt the best deal man has ever made.
