Scentwork Trials, Workshops and Training Evenings

Throughout the year Scentwork Wales will be holding small, fun, scentwork trials (with prizes!) to give you something to work towards, and to be able to monitor and record your dog's progress.  Nose Work is limited only by our imagination - dogs can learn to search a variety of containers; can search both in and out of doors, and can even learn to search closed vehicles with the scent inside!  We can teach dogs to search for different scents, multiple hides, and to tell us when an environment is 'clear'.  You can learn to work as a team, supporting your dog and handling him well to maximise his sniffing abilities.  Trial dates, workshops and training evenings will be posted throughout the year.
